Organiser questions

Running it — the practical bits

Can I order for the whole group in one go?

Yes — that’s the whole point. You pick a tee for each person, add their name and size, and check out once. It all prints together and ships to one address (yours). No chasing everyone for their own order.

Can every tee have a different name?

Every tee. Same design across the group or a contrast tee for the grad, with a different name on each — and a nickname on the back if you like. No minimum, no setup fee.

When should I order for the trip?

Printed to order in 1–2 working days, then shipped. For a weekend away, order at least a week ahead to be safe — sooner for big groups or if you’re cutting it fine.

What if someone needs a different size?

You set each person’s size in the same order — mix freely from XS to 4XL. Because every tee is printed to order, check the size guide before you order; the standard Softstyle fits true to size, the premium Comfort Colors is a boxier, heavyweight cut.

GRADUATION HQ

The complete graduation t-shirt guide

You made it. Three (or four, or "let's not count") years of deadlines, all-nighters and questionable timetable decisions, and now the whole squad crosses the stage together. Personalised graduation t-shirts turn that moment into something you actually keep. Whether you're a uni cohort, a college class, a sixth form leavers' group or a course WhatsApp that never quite left, one matching design with everyone's name on it is how the Class of 2026 shows up.

Here's the good news for whoever's been landed with organising it: Squad Society is built for exactly this. One person sets up the design, shares a link, and everyone adds their own name and picks their own size. It's one checkout and one delivery to one address, printed in the UK, with names printed free and no minimum order. No spreadsheet of sizes, no chasing people for money, no "can you order mine too?" the night before. This guide walks you through planning the order, working out who's in the squad, nailing the design, and getting shirts in hands before the ceremony.

PLANNING

How to plan your graduation group order

Graduation dates are fixed months ahead, which makes this one of the easiest group orders to plan properly. Work backwards from the ceremony and you'll never be sweating a delivery date.

  1. 6 weeks outLock the crew and the conceptDecide who's in — coursemates, flatmates, the whole cohort — and agree roughly what you want the shirt to say. "Class of 2026" plus your uni or course name is a safe, always-good default.
  2. 5 weeks outSet up the designPick your garment and colour, choose a slogan and layout, and preview how names will print. This takes about ten minutes on the graduation t-shirts page.
  3. 4 weeks outShare the linkDrop the group link into your course chat. Everyone adds their own name and picks their own size — you don't collect a single measurement yourself.
  4. 2 weeks outChase the stragglersThere's always three people. Send one reminder, set a soft cut-off, and let the group order fill up. Bigger groups unlock 5%, 10% and 15% discounts as you go.
  5. 10 days outPlace the orderOne checkout, one payment, one UK address. Everything prints together so the whole batch matches.
  6. Ceremony weekHand them outShirts arrive in one box. Sort by name, distribute at the pre-drinks or the meet-up, and wear them for the photos.

THE SQUAD

Who's in the squad

Graduation groups come in every shape. Here's who usually ends up in the photo — and how matching shirts pull them all together.

The Grad

The one crossing the stage. Their name goes on the shirt in pride of place, and the whole design is really a celebration of them making it through.

The Squad / Coursemates

The people who survived the same seminars, group projects and library lock-ins. Matching tees turn a shared degree into a shared memory you all keep.

Proud Family

Parents, siblings and the grandparents who never quite understood the course but showed up anyway. A "Team [Surname]" or "Proud Mum of the Grad" variant makes them part of it.

The Whole Group

Sometimes it's the entire cohort in one design. No minimum order means a group of 4 or 40 works the same — and the bigger you get, the better the discount.

IDEAS

Graduation t-shirt ideas & slogans

Stuck on wording? Steal any of these. Mix a headline slogan with everyone's name and the year, and you've got a design in seconds.

"Class of 2026" "We Made It" "Degrees of Chaos" "Finally Graduated" "Certified & Sorted" "The Squad Graduates" "Officially Qualified" "Paid In Full (In Deadlines)" "Educated & Elevated" "Cap, Gown, Done" "From Freshers to Finished" "Thanks & Goodbye Lectures" "Grad Squad 2026" "Survived the Dissertation" "Loud & Graduated" "Same Course, Same Chaos" "We Actually Did It" "Class Dismissed" "Peak Achieved" "The Final Chapter" "Adulting Loading…" "Hire Us, We're Great" "Legends of 2026" "Uni Was a Vibe"

CHECKLIST

The organiser's checklist

Tick these off and the whole thing runs itself.

  • Confirm the ceremony date and work backwards six weeks.
  • Agree who's in the group — course, flat, cohort or the whole year.
  • Pick a garment style and colour everyone will actually wear again.
  • Choose a slogan and add "Class of 2026" plus your uni or course name.
  • Decide whether family variants ("Proud Parent", "Team [Surname]") are included.
  • Set up the design and preview how names print on the shirt.
  • Share the group link in your course chat with a clear deadline.
  • Send one reminder to the people who haven't added themselves yet.
  • Watch the group size — note when you cross into the next discount tier.
  • Double-check spellings and sizes before you hit order (people mistype their own names).
  • Confirm one delivery address that works for everyone.
  • Place the order at least 10 days before the ceremony.
  • Sort shirts by name when the box arrives.
  • Hand them out before the photos, not after.

FAQS

Graduation t-shirt FAQs

How long before graduation should I order?

Aim to place the order about 10 days before the ceremony, and start setting it up around five to six weeks out to give everyone time to add their name and size. UK printing keeps turnaround tight, but earlier is always calmer.

Does everyone pay separately or do I collect the money?

Neither the painful way. It's one checkout, so you're not chasing individual payments or fronting the cost yourself. Set the group up, everyone joins, and the order goes through in a single transaction.

Is there a minimum number of shirts?

No minimum. A group of four works exactly like a group of forty. The only thing that changes with size is the discount — larger groups unlock 5%, 10% and 15% off.

Can everyone have their own name on their shirt?

Yes, and names are printed free. Each person adds their own name when they join the group, so no two shirts have to be identical while the design stays consistent.

Can people pick different sizes?

Absolutely. Everyone selects their own size when they add themselves, so you never have to collect measurements or guess. Mixed sizes all print and ship together.

Can family members join the design too?

Yes. You can include variants like "Proud Mum of the Grad" or "Team [Surname]" so parents, siblings and supporters match the graduate on the day.

Where are the shirts printed and delivered?

Everything is printed in the UK and sent as one delivery to a single address you choose — usually the organiser's. You then hand them out at the meet-up or pre-drinks.

What if someone joins late?

Set a soft cut-off and send one reminder before you place the order. Once it's submitted the batch prints together, so late additions would need a separate order — worth flagging your deadline clearly in the group chat.
